Join Boys Town Pediatrics for a week of education on everything newborn!

Newborn Week will feature online education classes during the week of October 7-11 and the In-Person Newborn Skills Workshop on Saturday, October 12.

Online Education Classes

October 7th-12th
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Daily

Throughout the week, new and expecting parents can tune into sessions covering a variety of topics and tips to prepare for the newest addition to the family! Each day will feature a live pediatrician-led session, followed by additional resources shared throughout the day, including pre-recorded reels from other providers and community experts.

This year's topics include:

  • Feeding – Breastfeeding and Formula
  • Sleep – From Naps to Nighttime
  • Health and Hygiene in the First Six Months
  • Crying Triggers, Tips and Tricks
  • Coping with Parental Guilt (featuring Boys Town Behavioral Health)

Plus, there will be prizes throughout the week! Enter to win two daily prizes by participating in our education sessions. At the end of the week, one lucky registrant will win our grand prize: a newborn photo session with Nikki McLeay Photography.

  • Master swaddling and diapering with Nurture Omaha
  • Learn the basics of CPR with the Boys Town Fire Department
  • Understand what it takes to keep home safe with Nebraska Regional Poison Center
  • Practice car seat installation and travel safety with Safe Kids Douglas County.
