  Administering medication to toddlers can sometimes present as quite a challenge.  Most of the time if you can get them to take their medication in a small amount of milk or water or juice that is a good idea however if they won't take the volume then sometimes the best idea is to go ahead and lay them down with mom or dad.  You know, sometimes you need a partner in the activity.  The idea is to just get the medication as far back in their mouth as you can and administer it as quickly as possible.
