Newborn Sleep Patterns
It is a fact that newborn babies do not sleep through the night which means that neither do parents. So our best recommendation for parents in the first few weeks is to just be patient, because usually up until two months there is really no sleep pattern and babies are up frequently throughout the night.
Usually around the ages of three months to six months babies develop a better sleep routine and some babies will start to sleep through the night or at least go six to eight hours in the evening with a full stretch of sleep.
