One way of treating Posterior Canal BPPV is to do the half somersault. Today we will be demonstrating the right half somersault. Initially you have the patient look straight up in the air and hold that for 30 seconds. Then you ask the patient to put their head on the ground, top of the head to the mat and hold this position for 30 seconds. For right-sided BPPV, the patient will turn their head with their head chin towards their right elbow and hold this for 30 seconds. Then the patient comes halfway up and holds for 30 seconds and then sits up with their head up and the maneuver is finished.
