What to Expect at the Pediatric Hematology Assessment Clinic
Led by Taylor Losole, M.D., the clinic provides a one-time assessment of symptoms and begins the process of diagnosis. To schedule an appointment, patients must receive a referral from their primary care provider. (Don’t have a pediatrician? Boys Town Pediatrics is always accepting patients!)

After the assessment, management of care is returned to the patient’s primary care doctor, along with referrals to other specialties as needed. Dr. Losole will provide ongoing management of care for patients diagnosed with a disease where management by a hematologist is indicated.
Pediatric Hematology Team
When your child has a chronic condition, finding the right doctor is important. The Boys Town Pediatric Hematology Assessment Clinic is led by a team that is specially trained in hematological care for kids.
The clinic is led by
Dr. Taylor Losole, a pediatric hospitalist at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Dr. Losole received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed a residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a pediatric hematology oncology fellowship at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha.
Dr. Losole is supported by a team of nurses and medical staff who are highly trained to care for the special needs of infants, children and adolescents.
