The Boys Town Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is a specially designed inpatient unit that focuses on advanced diagnostic evaluation with EEG. Hospital stays are typically three to five days.

Electromyographic (EMG) testing and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) testing work hand-in-hand to give patients the most accurate diagnosis for neuromuscular conditions. The tests are low-risk but high-reward and require a high level of training to be done effectively. Led by a neurologist who is fellowship-trained in neuromuscular care, Boys Town Pediatric Muscle and Weakness Clinic has the capability to provide these tests.
