Preparing for Your Hearing Test Using Computer-Based Conditioned Play Audiometry
Welcome to Boys Town Audiology. We've created the following video so our patients know what to expect at their appointment.
You will be coming in for hearing testing using computer-based conditioned play audiometry. During this appointment, we are going to touch your ears, look in your ears, take some ear measurements and play some listening games. The hearing testing will involve following directions and waiting to play a game in response to sound.
This testing is used for our patients that are early elementary school ages (keep in mind that this age range is just a guide and a different testing method may be used depending on patient interests and needs).
