Preparing for Your Hearing Test Using Conventional Audiometry
Welcome to Boys Town Audiology. We've created the following video so our patients know what to expect at their appointment.
You will be coming in for hearing testing using conventional audiometry. During this appointment, we are going to touch your ears, look in your ears, take some ear measurements and listen for beeps. The hearing testing will involve pressing a button in response to sound.
This testing is used for patients tat are late elementary school ages and older (keep in mind that this age range is just a guide and a different testing method may be used depending on patient interests and needs).
